I turn my light on Then started sewing, then the light goes off I have to turn the machine off at the power switch. then on again. then turn the light on, then sew again, then the light turns off again. Then I have to do it all over again if that makes sense. I have changed the light bulb it is not that. Can some one please help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DawnCavanaugh Posted August 13, 2007 Report Share Posted August 13, 2007 Joy, It could be a bulb that is going bad, or the starter for the bulb. First try swapping out the bulb, (you can find a replacement at a well-stocked hardware store--it's a 12-inch, 8-watt bulb). Otherwise, check the starter for the light. It is located behind the front panel of your machine. You should also be able to find a replacement at the hardware store. Let us know if you were able to "shed more light" on the problem!
