Frida
Does anybody have some advice about when I'm using my CQ the machine pulls sideways before my needle has come up far enough. I get so scared that the fabric will tear. I have had some problems with my Millie ( working without the CQ) not stopping and after some adjustments to the famous # 8 screw and Sweet Amy, that problem seems to be resolved. Is there anybody else in Europe that has a CQ? I would love to hear from you.
smorris
Hi kikki I've had this problem before. Sometimes the needle positioner on the Milli (no 8 pod) needs to be adjusted after a new machine has been used for awhile because the needle is cycling to many times. This puts the needle positioner speed and the motor drive speeds of the CQ out of sync with each other. If the needle positioner is cycling nicely now, contact your dealer or SD Stitches and they will walk you through changing the settings on the System Set up page of your CQ.
