Hawaii
I have the APQS Freedom and it has a manual horizontal channel lock. I was at Innovations and one of the instructors said that in order to vertically baste, we could use the clip to attach to the wheels. Where, how and what would that look like? Would it possibly mess up my machine? Hawaii Barbara
quiltmonkey
Hi Barbara. I think what the instructor means is to use your side pony clamps and clamp them on the bottom rails right against your wheels (not on the wheels) so they don't move left or right (only the top carriage wheels are free to move forward or backward). Use both clips to secure all four wheels (similar to if you were using wheel chocks on your vehicle tires so they don't roll). Give it a try and see if that works. Happy quilting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
