Well, over at Quilting Weekly (http://www.quiltingweekly.com/course-outlines/friendship-star-pillow.html) you can take a free online quilting class and get a pattern for a great "friendship star pillow case" that would be fabulous for a Christmas gift. I have a very old Nolting--no stitch regulator, channel locks, needle up/down--that I do my quilting on. I have won several awards at major shows with the quilting work I\'ve done on the Nolting so it\'s not that I cannot produce good work. I\'m wondering if I\'m just wowed by all the bells and whistles of the new machines. I test drove every machine available at Houston last year, but am hoping to see the Lenni this year. Since I only basically quilt for myself (a few things for friends) it\'s hard to justify the cost of a new machine. I\'d appreciate anyone\'s feedback. Dare2pt Posted October 20, 2007 Report Share Posted October 20, 2007 I don\'t think your link is working correctly, I did sort of get to the correct page, but I couldn\'t go anywhere, it was blinking etc. Maybe when I have a few more minutes I can track down the correct page.
