RitaR
Oh I feel your pain, real well.. I\'ve been there, and found the route that helped me most. I started with the HQ frame and my Viking,, upgraded (?) to the DM an stretched machine.. did nothing but stitch.. and now to the Lenni. with a couple tools you can diagonal straight stitch for cross hatching, free hand, meander, etc.. With big Bucks you can get the CompuQuilter and do about anything you can think of, download, or draw. It takes experimenting and practice to learn most of it, I\'m glad I went this way as I don\'t still have to manhandle the quilt, which in my opinion, you still have to do with George. I think I can control the machine easier than the quilt. Good luck in your search,, hope you find something. Oh, and the bigger throat you can afford to get on the machine you want, the better the possibilities will be. RitaR
Myrna Ficken
osconda, You can stitch in the ditch and do crosshatching with George. Of course I recommend that you mark before crosshatching. You have plenty of room with George. And he gos in a straight line very well . As Rita suggested you can always go to Lenni.
