lizziesgirl
Does the speed of your needle up/down affect your SR? My needle up/down is really slow and I know that I can speed it up but I don\'t mind it. I have noticed that my stitch length doesn\'t seem what it should be and was curious if the speed of the needle up/down would affect this.
DawnCavanaugh
Sheryl, The speed of your needle positioner really shouldn\'t relate to stitch length. You mention that your stitch length doesn\'t seem to be "what it should be"--could you go a little more in depth about what seems to be amiss? lizziesgirl
It doesn\'t seem to matter if my stitch length is on 10 or 12 they look the same. I have checked all my connections and the black encoder wheels and everything is moving correctly. I noticed on my first practice quilt to the latest quilts that my stitch length is larger and I generally unless its flannel quilt on 12 SPI. I have even measured how many stitches there are in an inch and even being on 12 I generally have 9 to 10. Any clues?
