Laura Farnham
Okay, It only took me @ 1 1/2 years of having my Milli and reading this chat daily to learn,... That I can do Piano Key borders with the Channel Locks! Never dawned on me to do it that way. While reading a post by Cheryl (Stagecl) , she mentioned doing her Piano keys with the Channel Locks. It was like a V8 commercial moment. Just started laughing. Used the locks on a border last night. Worked beautifully. Hope this helps someone else. Or maybe just gave someone a good laugh. Have a Great Day All!!! Laura

Laura Farnham
Hey Catherine- I\'ll have to find the camera and get some pics, Maybe later today. This quilt was a bear. Although it was only 62 X 62, it was one of this customers first quilts. Was not pressed well, and had a lot of issues. Worst of all, She used Stretchiy fabric for the borders. The plan was to do a large Cablein the border, but It just would not cooperate, so I pulled it all and went with the piano Keys. It worked great. She is so proud of this quilt so I went a bit overboard. Tried out some new things and am very pleased with the outcome. On another note, I see you are from Hawaii. It is my dream to get there. I\'ve never been. Sad thing is, I\'m Hawaiian. My Grandfather was Bobbie Kaai, Ukelele player. Someday. Have a geat day! Laura
