  1. You should be able to just email them and they will email you a copy.
  2. You are not late, cause it's still not fixed :/ I figured out how to adjust it (the needle needed to be in the DOWN position) I missed that! They recently sent them, I will try moving the needle down a smidge. After going through and adjusting the bobbin, etc for the timing it still won't stitch, so I am hoping moving the needle helps :/
  3. Yes a pin was hit. The needle is inserted correctly. the needle is not down as far as it’s supposed to be according to the video I watched.
  4. I am not having issues with the needle bar, I just need to adjust it per the timing video APQS has put out. The machine is not stitching at all. I think the needle bar needs to be lowered a little bit.
  5. I have an Ultimate 2. It wasn't stitching. So I followed most of the timing video. except for adjusting the needle bar. When I put the flathead screw driver in there, I don't feel anything to "screw". Am I missing something? (Yes the screw driver is long enough, I bought a long one.)
  6. But which one? There’s 3.
  7. Ok. I’m just nervous about buying one and it not fitting. if you want to make me one I won’t complain :p
  8. I’m looking at the base extenders in the website, but I’m not sure which one I would get for the ultimate 2. I’m guessing it would be this one since I don’t have a thread cutter. https://shop.apqs.com/products/product-3000-03-hartley-base-expander-no-thread-cutter.asp
  9. I bought it from APQS and it did NOT come with instructions :/
  10. Great!!! Thanks. I will be ordering from apqs.
  11. What is this part called? i found it (motor belt) Is it tough to replace?
  12. I have an ultimate 2, and 3 bobbins. I NEED more. I’m pretty sure they’re L style, the ones in the shop do not look like mine. And when I try to search on amazon I’m not sure they’re right. i have attached a picture of mine. One side is flat and the other has holes. thank you.
  13. I have a black and decker one I love. I wanted one without a teflon bottom, and I wanted the point to be a point not with a little bump it in (hope that makes sense).

    motor smells

It was warm. But it’s also chilly here and my machine is in the garage. I will check the drive belt.
  15. I LOVE leader grips!! If you are buying them off of her site she has them listed if you are buying for a set of 3 rollers or 2 rollers. I personally would be 2 since I float my top.

    motor smells

I recently acquired an Ultimate II machine. I used it about a week ago, and just kind of tested it out (with flannel and batting). Tonight I started my first quilt. As I was using it tonight the motor smelled. As you can see by the pictures the motor is fairly new (11/17). Is this a motor issue? or did I have the speed turned up to high? Thank you
  20. You can use a zig zag stitch. That's the way they taught us before they let us use a serger.
  21. I enjoy the forum, but there's just not as much chatter here as on facebook
  22. I had seen your pictures, but wasn't sure where you had gotten them. Thanks
  23. Those were the only ones I could find. I took some pictures of my machine & carriage. I feel like mine looks different than yours. . . Thanks for your help.
