  1. Does anyone use the Quilt Butler robotics. Thinking about getting one and would like your thoughts.
  2. Has anyone ever used this? Renaissance Wax Polish...For waxing your Mid Arm or Long Arm Machine rails
  3. When I'm stitching on the backside on my Lenni, it feels like the machine is not moving smoothly in some areas. We checked the carriage and the table and both are level. Any suggestions?
  4. I have the tension guide chart from Superior Thread but don't see a setting for Glide Thread. Can someone help me with the proper setting for Magnaglide bobbins please. Thanks!
  5. David, You are right. Texas will overcome! I am a Katrina survivor, having had 3 ft. of water on the second floor of my home and flooding again 2 weeks later with Rita. We lost everything we owned and our business as well. I know that is is very hard for everyone that is going through this, but they will get through it. I remember doing nothing but crying and watching the news for any glimpse of my community. The only coverage seemed to be of the 9th Ward in New Orleans. My entire community of St. Bernard Parish was totally destroyed, every building, home, church, school, etc. was totally under water. Two weeks after the storm I was sent to Pennsylvania for my job and wasn't able to see my home until 2 months later. My husband, daughter and son-in-law were able to salvage some things but not much, everything was pretty much trash, but it was my stuff. I was OK with it as long as it was still in my house. I went to my house one day after work to look around to see if there was anything else I could salvage and found that the volunteers had come and gutted my house. I stood outside my house and sobbed. I called my husband and was so upset I couldn't speak. While everything was in the house, it was still my stuff, but seeing it piled outside for the trash collector I realized it was all trash. I know, funny how our minds think. As I was telling this story to my brother and crying about my stuff, he put everything into prospective for me, as he had lost a child many years before Katrina, he said, "Minnie, it's just stuff!". I realized then that no one in my family died in this storm and he was right, it was just stuff and I could always get more stuff. I never cried another tear about my stuff! So yes, Texans will cry about their stuff, rejoice for lives not lost, fight with the insurance companies and FEMA, rebuild and move on.
  6. Thanks Nigel, I just got a towa gauge and will be trying it out tomorrow. Wish me luck!
  7. Do you use a towa gauge with the magna glide bobbins too?
  8. Yeah!!! My honey worked with me this morning and we have my Lenni back up and running! After a thorough cleaning and oiling, my honey found that one of my encoder cables had a broken wire. Luckily when I first got my used machine we had trouble setting it up and called APQS for help. We asked what extra parts we should have on hand and they recommended we have 2 cables. Thanks APQS....I can now get my quilts completed!
  9. My Lenni has been sitting for several months without running. I turned it on and tried to start quilting...I keep having thread breakage...I've changed the needle and adjusted the tension. Nothing seems to help. Also, it runs on manual, with thread breakage too, but when I put it in stitch regulator mode, and press the button the handle to run, it doesn't run....what now? Thanks, Lynn
  10. Does anyone use PCQuilter on a Lenni? What do you like/dislike about it. I only quilt for myself, a friend and my sister-in-law, so not looking to spend a lot of money right now.
  11. If you are willing to sell the pantographs separately, I'm interested. Thanks!
  12. Thanks....I was getting so confused on trying to decide what kind of thread to buy and spent hours just browsing this forum. Figured I would save some other newbie's some time!
  13. Being a newbie, I have been reading this forum and looking for information to help me get started. I've searched the forum for information on favorite threads, batting, pantographs, books, etc. and put this reference document together for easy access to information. Hope it helps other newbies like me! Quilt Tips.pdf
