Rita
Yesterday my motorized feed wasn't working, I called APQS, they suggested that it could be a fuse...I took it out and pushed it back in...seemed okay...today it's acting up...will go backward but not forward for any length of time...any suggestions? And...what size fuses are we using? (Millennium) Thanks -Rita
Sandra Darlington
Are your motor couplings separating? Mine do that and I have to frequently use an allen wrench to tighten them and then I'm OK for a while. I went to a quilt show and was given instructions from a guy at the APQS booth about how to properly tighten it up by turning a handle underneath the motorized feed. I told him I never even noticed it , so no, I hadn't tried tightening it. Well, when I got home...I do not have one to tighten and I don't see holes where one should have been. Very weird! I hope you fix your problem asap.
victoriasews
I'm absolutely no help to you but it got me to wondering, if your motor stops, is it possible to somehow manually advance the quilt? I've often worried that if the motor quits, will I be stuck not being able to quilt because it can't be advanced?
Primitive1
I would think you could unhook the motor and manually advance the quilt, but I would call APQS anyway.. Vicki
