smorris
Hi everyone I ordered some prewounds from Superior a couple of weeks ago and some of the colours were on a new type of paper bobbin. Instead of the cardboard we are used to, they are now coming on a stiffer glossy coated cardboard. They run really smooth in the bobbin and tension was great. Ferret
I've just ordered some for the first time, so I will look forward to them arriving. I hadn't tried them before because they seemed a waste but I think I was calculation the cost wrong as they seem to be very good value now. Ooooh now I don't want to wait for my thread order to arrive. Ferret
smorris
Hi Ferret We must have been doing the same maths the first time around - I thought they were expensive too, but I might have been looking at the thicker cotton thread. Anyway, I don't like winding bobbins, even with my super fast Turbowinder, I'd much rather be quilting. Hope the colours you ordered are on these new bobbins. sue in Australia
