ramona-quilter
I call this a kaleidoscope. The blocks are 6" with 2-1" alternating color borders/sashing around each block. First border is 1.5". Outside border is 7.5". I'm taking Myrna Ficken's Hartley Fence class this week in Utah so I was thinking about using the HF on the border - maybe overlapped circles or half circles with feathers. But the blocks, I don't know. They all have a sashing and the fabric is so busy. I'm thinking that less (quilting) is more. I would love to hear how you would quilt it? Myrna Ficken
Linda, Bring it with you so we can take a look at it in person. I have a set of new large Hartley Fence cookie cutters . A couple of them may work really well on the blocks. Also we might come up with ideas in the Sampler class. Myrna

pfrost
Linda, that's a really pretty quilt--love the colors! I agree, too, in that sometimes less quilting is better. Be sure to take photos of the "after" so we can see what you do with this one! Pat AZ:cool: Mille
housenextdoor
What fabric did you use to make this quilt? It looks like a Jenny Beyer but can't tell from the picture....it may seem busy to you but I think it is great I love the feeling of movement it gives you.... is it four triangles or more pieces its really hard to tell, guess it really does not matter its BEAUTIFUL! great job look forward to seeing your quilting when you get it finished. So I agree please post a picture will be watching for it
Shirl
I'm thinking that this might be a good one to do a "Terry Twist" on. Just my first thought. It certainly is pretty. My next thought would be thread?
