QuiltGlide

Last thursday I received my Millie and naturally it had to be build quickly. So today, I'm all set and running!

I have one question left though. I have a machine with the new quiltglide and nowhere in the manual I could find information on it. Since it is sunday..does any of you know where the QuiltGlide is located, what to do with it etc.?

There is a knob on the front of the machine to turn on Quilt Glide. You'll hear the knob click when Quilt Glide is turned on. The black dot on the front of the knob shows you the setting for when Quilt Glide will take over the stitch regulator. With the knob turned all the way to the left (but with Quilt Glide still on) is the slowest speed. Turn the knob to the right to increase the speed.

I use Quilt Glide mainly for outlining applique and doing small intricate work. You still have the SR engaged but get a pretty smooth ride. I've also used it for backtracking over the top of feathers.

I was wondering did you have to pay more for the option of having the quilt glide or is it standard with the new Millii models?? same thing for the automatic quilt advance I thought that was a standard option too?? Thanks Jackie

I think it is standard on the new Milli. You will get the quilt glide.

QuiltGlide ($1,250) and Power Fabric Advance ($1,350) are options...not standard features.
