mcmullen
when quilting and going from one place to another, maybe 2 inches,do you just take tiny stitches, drag your thread and continue quilting?Come back later and cut threads?I am afraid my stitches will come loose.Do I leave enough thread when I drag to tie and bury knots.I am confused. I usually tie and bury threads but when doing crosshatching, piano keys, etc burying knots sounds too time consuming.Thanks.
sspingler
I backstitch just like on the dsm when I bridge then come back later and trim.
mcmullen
Sharon, thank you for your quick response.I just was not sure the stitches would unravel if I did it this way. Your way sounds a lot faster than trying to tie and bury.
lindasewsit
How would you do it if you DID want to knot and bury? I am going to be crosshatching and traveling over a 4 " square. thanks!
sspingler
Linda......if you do want to tie and bury, just drag your machine over farther than necessary then clip in the middle.
