sewlinzi
Plenty of time left... I reckon quilters should just have a bag packed ready to go to a show at all times - one pair of shoes on your feet, one spare pair of linen trousers in case you need to look smart or it is hot, cheap undies that you can throw away, maybe a couple of shirts, a tiny pack up rain mac, hairbrush etc etc, British quilters need a travel kettle for USA and tea bags, Gin and Tonic/Wine in bubble wrap in suitcase so you can clear security, and leave PLENTY of space for the return trip! Have a fabulous time at MQS, everyone:D:D

Marlette
Hey Linzi, Glad you had a great time in Holland. I have a pen pal quilter there who had a quilt in that show. This is a link to his website where you can click through his slide show. His quilts are amazing! I'm trying to get him to try for Houston or Chicago. He hand quilts all of them. Check them out here: http://www.cosman.nl. The one he entered is "Doyenna". I think his other graphic quilts are more unusual, though. He also sent me the link for all the winners at that show http://www.oeqc.eu/indexen.php?i=6. Hope you enjoy looking at them all everyone.
sewlinzi
I saw that quilt - it was really striking and pretty much life size. They are all fab - I think he should go Stateside too.
