lyonden
I just received a box (I knew it was coming) from a customer in aother state. Now, it has been raining here for quite a few days and has also been raining in her area. When I opened the box, there were three quilts, all with white background tops with white backings. Guess what they were packed with? RED TISSUE PAPER.!!!! There was no plastic bags to keep them dry or anything. Thank goodness the box wasn't wet but what was she thinking??? Whenever I send anything in the mail, I always pack it in a plastic bag for safe keeping. I always tell my customers to do this and I do believe I have told this woman a few times. I always keep a note on my quilting list that there was no bag to keep it safe in case there is ever a problem. Geesh!!:mad:
CWBowser
Boy was your customer ever lucky. That tissue paper is as bad a putting dye on the quilt. It bleeds so easily when water hits it. Obviously she doesn't listen and does what she wants. Charlotte
Bonnie
I'm not sure you could have gotten out the overdye should it have gotten onto the quilts.....that is some nasty nasty dye, she should say a few extra prayers for being so...
