Daisy2018
Would like to use up some assorted thread from spools, (now buying thread on cones!). If you wind on a turbo, do you need to put the spool on a horizontal thread holder, or can you leave it vertical? Does anyone out there do this easily? Thank you, Pat
Sheri Butler
I think i'd use a horizontal thread holder, but dont know how you'd hook that up to your turbo bobbin winder. Guess i'm getting confused.
yankiequilter
I have wound from a spool on the turbo winder, witht he spool sitting vertically. I had to use a thread net and you would also have to watch to assure the thread does not catch on the notch in the spool.
sewlinzi
Thread it all up as normal then shove a small piece of batting on top of the thread in the large hook thing that sticks up in the air and you can even wind from bobbin to bobbin...
