peglu
Okay, so I am quilting away (in non-stitch related mode). but, every time I stop, the bobbin thread breaks. Am I stopping too fast? Do you stop stitching and then turn off the machine? I know my tension is good. This is definately a user error. Tips appreciated. Thanks, Peggy
Quilting Heidi
Peggy I think it happens from too many stitches happening in the same place. I've had this happen too but I usually have it happen when I start! Try slowing down the speed before you stop. You can slow it down as you are stitching, just takes a little practice. peglu
Thanks Heidi, Non SR is new to me, but I like it. It just stinks having to adjust the bobbin every time I stop.
Katydids
Yes, when you are in manual mode, the needle DOES NOT stop. So, if you stop and don't shut off the machine (blue button) it will continue to stitch and cause the bobbin thread to break. So continue stitching in manual mode, just do a "command Blue" when you stop to think or change direction, whatever.
