Quilting Heidi
When I changed out my leaders on my old machine I used marine glue as it will stick to metal.
ckeindl
I "scraped" off all that old glue with a plastic putty knife so that the bars would be smooth. When I put my new leaders on - I just used a tape that was stickier than a tan masking tape (I wouldn't use duct tape because it can pull the paint off). That made it easier for me to move or "adjust" the leaders to be straight as I put them on and rolled them up. That was a couple years ago (I don't quilt for a living though so not as much use as others) and I've noticed that the center of the leaders are a bit more "stretched" out than the ends, so I think I'll unroll and "adjust" again?!
