mrmquilt Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 Last year a lot of people went to a local quilt shop called Country Fabrics. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it. They have a new building now with a lot more space. I wanted to let the Mowana group know that if they plan an evening to go to Country Fabrics we need to call them so they will stay open late. I figure it will take us about 9 hours from NY so if we left at 6 am we'd be there by 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Already have informed DH that the fall I retire from teaching (1-3 years), I'm heading east to this camp in September. It sounds wonderful! Enjoy. Himself and a gal friend of mine bet who's way to go is the closest to our Dum-Dumb. Usually we get lost before Dum-Dumb gets us there. We laugh ourselves silly. Wish I could go with yáll. RitaR.
