Melora
At the moxie meeting today I showed a quilt done with Bubble Jet set, which produces a soft picture that holds up. I then said there is a recipe to make your own bubble jet. They asked me to post a link http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=129537.0Thank Soda ash can be found at an pool supply a hug container is about $5 and will last you a lifetime. Alum can be found in the spice aisle of the grocery store. It is best if used on high quality muslin. Melora

Boni
Thanks Melora for the link. There's quite a discussion on that link about the recipe. It's worth trying just because it's inexpensive. That quilt you showed was quite the application for this technique. Thanks for the show and tell. I hope my pictures turned out. I just love what you did in the photos as far as adding texture and backgrounds. Love it!
clq-jill
Thanks Melora- I'm excited to try this technique, as I have never been happy with the prepackaged sheets. Thanks so much for sharing! Jill
