Zora
I bought one of those Pledge pet hair pickup things. Its a plastic thing with fuzzy rollers on the bottom, about $5 at Walmart. It works great on my quilts to pick up little bits of thread. Use it gently, and it will pick up all the fuzzies from the batting that settle on the quilt top, too. Instead of throwing it away when it gets full, I take a crochet hook, put it between the two rollers, and pull out the wad of thread. It lasts quite awhile, and does a better job than the sticky rollers. (And it even picks up the cat hair in case kitty has nested on the quilt!) Try it! godlewsm
I tried using the Pledge roller on inexpensive batting fuzzies on Navy blue fabric. It was unable to do the job. But, I do agree that it does work nicely on loose threads. Will try it on the next quilt top with cat hair. Thanks for the tip.
