But then there are probably some other newbies that don't quite understand what you mean by "burying you threads". Can someone explain, please? You guys are great!! ffq-lar Posted February 10, 2010 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 When you start or stop a line of stitching, bring up the bobbin thread. Leave a tail of bobbin and top thread long enough to thread a needle (either a regular needle with a larger eye, or a self-threading needle.) Tie a knot close to but not at the place the threads came out. Thread the two tails onto the needle and go back through the top in the hole made by the bobbin thread. Run the thread through the batting but not the back. Come back up a needle's length away, tug the thread so the knot pops through to the center layer, and snip the threads close. Ta dah!
