ffq-lar
I think we need more info-- When is it breaking and how are you quilting at the time it breaks? Obviously it breaks when it hits something so it could be caused by incorrect position of the hook assembly (timing), thick seams causing an over-flexing of the needle, or even bad needles. Do a search (back to the beginning) and also read Dawn's great advice in the education sections. Good luck! Contact your Rep as well for great help. jmcclannan
When I first got my machine I was breaking needles too. The timing was off and my husband had to retime the machine. Call APQS if you need help. They'll talk you through it if they need to.
LinneaMarie
Just make sure the needle is not in backwards! I did that!! The bump on the needle needs to be facing you!
