I have had my LA up for some time now and have been practicing and will be doing pantos soon on a customer's quilts. I just received and watched Myrna Fickens "Beginning Long Arm Quilting". I learned so much......almost wish I had had it sooner. But maybe - after playing so much and stumbling a lot, I actually had a quicker understanding of what she was showing and teaching. Now on to making some corrections of how I have been doing things.

I also have the Hartley Fence, DVD and workbook--so now want to get working with them.

And oh, start listing what other DVD's of hers and others I want for birthday and Christmas!!!

Thanks, Myrna for your "being yourself" teaching methods and putting it in such simple language while all the while making me enjoy learning it and feel like I can accomplish it! Freehand quilting is my hearts desire.

Agreed...she does have a way of keeping it simple, communicating the important details plus lots of extras and also giving you the confidence that you can do it too.

I have checked out your website. I don't have my millie yet but I will definately have your dvds on my list for birthday and xmas as well as both are in Dec. lol. I will be ordering the Beginning Longarm Quilting this week.

I too enjoyed watching that video. Just got Lenni less than a month ago. there is so much to learn but the video had such great info.
