onesewise
I just finished this and will rip out the stitches at a later time but can anyone tell me what to adjust so the bobbin thread doesn't just lay on the back with very tiny top thread looping around it? I'm guessing tighten the bobbin thread...but how? Thank you! Elaine
Mary Beth
I think you should tighten the top tension. Do you have the book Long-Arm Machine Quilting by Carol A. Thelen? I live by that book. Keep it right next to my machine most times. I can't really see the stitching in your picture. I see some stitching coming out from the center, but can't see it well enough to tell that you need to frog...Sorry you have to do that, it is frustrating. ramona-quilter
Hi Northern Virginia, I agree with Mary Beth, the tension needs to be tightened on the top. Superior has a great little visual about thread tension. It really cleared it up for me. http://www.superiorthreads.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=43&Itemid=
chickenscratch
Sorry you have to rip out the stitching, but the quilt is beautiful. I love the colors.
