Guest Linda S
As you all may know, September 30 is Quilt Pink Day. Many quilt shops are having events across the country that allow you to come in and make blocks which will be stitched into a quilt. I have called the local store involved in this and offered to quilt one of the quilts they put together for free. Just my way of contributing to the cause. tsurich
Linda, The quilt I posted a pic of with the swag border was our groups first quilt pink. We have three more done that are in line for me to quilt and three more in the works to finish piecing. One of our area store owners is going through chemo and will start radiation in two months so we really wanted to show support. Sue
Judi
All of the shops in our town are doing this as well. One owner will be up at the Mall Of America and there will also be finished quilts there and for sale already, instead of waiting until May when they will be going on ebay. I wish I could get to the Mall, there is going to be many shops up there! She is also having a raffle for a quilt kit, which is full of awesome pink batiks hope I win that! Linda - good for you - I am also going to quilt at least one, she has over 130 blocks yet to put into quilts, so maybe I will do 2......
