Deann
I was quilting a busy patchwork quilt today and I could not see where I had been. Is there something I could do to help in this case? The quilt contained so many colors that any color would fade out somewhere.
Bonnie
As I have gotten older I have a problem with darker colors...navy and black....I use a bright floor light and shine it right on the quilt and it seems to make my life way easier. May be this will help you as well.
jeri
Sometimes a side lighting or even turning off the overhead lights and just quilting with the light on the machine will make the texture stand out and you can see better. I know that sounds backwards. If your lights are on a dimmer switch try turning them way down. If you are quilting with white on a light background try putting in a black light on your machine (available at Wal*Mart for about $8.00) sometimes the light will make the thread show up. jeri
