Guest Linda S
Blogs are generally free (if you don't do advertising, I think), but for a regular website, you'll have to pay someone's server to host it for you, unless you want to set yourself up as a server and run it yourself (can lead to hacking, etc). I currently have my website on webhostingpad.com Their rates are reasonable and it was easy to upload my pages. I bought my domain name from namesecure.com Linda
Georgene
I pay $4.99 a month for Vista Print to host my website. And they have free software that allows you to design your own site. You can only have a 3-page site at this price, but that's all I need. I have links to my price sheet (PDF files) and to where I post my quilt pictures (webshots). Guest Jenna1Zwang
I totally agree with both Linda and Georgene. You cannot have a website for free. You have to pay to owe a space to setup a website....

Boni
Here is a website that gives you 45 sites to build a website for free. Be cautious. How do we know which is best? Maybe paying a minimal fee is more secure? http://www.1stwebdesigner.com/design/best-web-builders-create-free-website/
