mcmullen
While cleaning out my studio to make more room I found a box of 90 Schmetz 134 SES/135X5 SES needles. I used to use these on a Gammill Classic I had. Can I uses these in my Millennium? I know the numbers don't match the GB needles that Apqs sells and I don't want to damage my machine. Anyone ever tried them on the APQS machines? I e-mailes APQS but I guess its still flying around it space- never heard from them. Thanks Becky. These used to be sold by Sharon Shambers son-in-law? LindaB
My personal opinion is to stick with what APQS recommends for their machines.....You can't go wrong.... Happy Quilting ... !
Primitive1
I don't know, I'd worry about them messing up your timing....I'd stick with what they recommend too.
DawnCavanaugh
Becky, The Schmetz needles don't have a deep enough scarf and bump to adequately clear the hook. Stick with MR needles with the following designations: MR 1955-01 797 Dp 135x5 Those labeled Geburder are titanium and may or may not work on your machine. W recommend steel needles. Hope that helps! Guest Linda S
If those fit your Gammill, you may find that they are also too long for your APQS machine.
