sharni Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 These quilts were the first ones I quilted on my APQS machine and it helped me learn so much about working with it. The girls of course don't notice or care about the "beginner" quality or the mistakes that I had to fix. I made the quilts from kits on half price clearance from JoAnne's so there was not a lot of cost involved. This way they can take them outside for sunbathing, into the play tent for reading and games, and for in front of the TV with Myah, their Boxer. The special keepsake quality quilts will come later when they will really want and appreciate the work that will go into the project.
