dbz98236
I haven't done it yet but I was told this weekend to use a ruler as your guide and adjust it as needed.
Deb2bie
Quilting in the ditch is difficult to accomplish whether the pieceing is perfect or not!!! Using a ruler will help a lot, but a lot of practice will also help!! I drew lines on a practice piece and just practiced, practiced, practiced!!! If you need to stitch the seam area down and sititching in the ditch is looking messy, try doing a wavy, serpentine stitch down seams. I like it to very obvious that I was meaning to be wavy. So there is no question what I meant to do!!! I have to laugh when customers say, Oh JUST "stitch in the ditch" or JUST cross hatch the whole thing!!! Just and those words don't belong in the same sentence!!!
Sandra Darlington
Some people use a clear thread like Monolon or Mono Poly, or other brands, so the stitches aren't so visible....just a thought.
