Judith Fosse
I managed to jam my machine. I foolishly wiped out at a oil drop near the running bobbin basket with a cloth. the cloth caught in the mechanism, major clunk and the machine turned off. I know the timing is off, but what else may I have done? The machine doesn't turn on - a fuse somewhere?
Kelly
Judith, I did the exact same thing. I really thought I screwed everything up, but I didn't even have to mess with the timing!! Yes, there is a fuse to replace, it's in the holder above your plug in on your machine. I'm sure the info is in your manual, but feel free to call me or mail me if you have any questions, maybe I can answer them. I thought I blew mine up. Goodluck!! connie hurst
Hi Judith, The worst thing that may have happened is you knocked it out of timing.. Look in the instruction manual, under timing and remove the needle plate and check things out! The other thing is to replace the fuse, there is one spare fuse in the machine! Unplug it and you will see a little picture of a fuse! I got your e-mail and I will call and check on you! I am in the office all day!
