fineseams
I'm practicing freehand ribbon candy for a border and I have a question. What do you do when it is time to turn a corner? I haven't been able to sketch something continuous that looks good and fills the space well, but I don't really like the look of stopping at the corner, doing something completely different in the corner square, and then taking off again with the ribbon candy. Guest Linda S
There's nothing wrong with putting a small design in the corners and just running the ribbon candy into it either. I've done it a few times with just a small flower in each corner.
calicokat
I usually do a heart in the corner, sort of like Linda's flower suggestion.
