MtnBarb
Lost power in all wall sockets on one side of my sewing room. Husband checked and it wasn't breakers or anything. Waited 4 days for electrician. He came in pushed the button of the GFI socket and left. Took him 1 minute! Can't you say "Duh"! :D
ffq-lar
Duh. Sorry Barb! Wanna start a list of "duhs"? I'll go second! Machine was dragging--really dragging. I looked all over. Nothing hanging up on the rails. No cord caught somewhere. Nothing blocking the wheels. No thread around the flywheel. Turned it off and on--now it works fine. An hour later it starts again--like plowing a field--push push. My controls had slewed around a bit and I was setting the channel lock accidentally. Duh! PattyJo
3rd Duh = Spent the morning giving my machine a good going over, - blowing, oiling, wiping, dusting etc...... Move the machine to the quilt top, start stitching away and machine starts being hard to move, finally just won't move at all. Looked at the lights on the top of the machine, no I hadn't set the locks by accident, went to back to see if cord was hung up - NO but then I see the towel that I used to keep any oil from falling on the floor - - - - the wheels just don't go over the towel ! DuH BUT DON'T FORGET - WE ARE ALL PROFESSIONALS HERE! HAHAHA
