RoseCity Quilter
Any experience or comments about Marathon threads in our longarms? http://www.marathonthread.com/poly.shtml
Corey
Ardelle, Kay Anderson from Texas introduced me to Marathon when we met in MQS Kansas, she likes it. I bought lots from them in 2009 to 2010. The price is good, but I prefer Glide and the magnetic core bobbins that matches the top thread, solved most of my tension issues. Spencerg
I have used Marqthon threads almost exclusively on both my DSM and my Milly and have nothing but good things to say about it, have never had any tension issues, exceptional delivery 2 days here in Northern Ontario, Good pricing. In my Milly, I usually use Cotton Look polyester 50 wt in the bobbin and either 40 or 50 wt in the top. I have used the cotton 50 wt with no problems. I have not tried the specialty threads in Milly but have used them for my DSM and have had no problems, friends with embroidery manchines use them exclusively. Hope this helps Gillian
Gail O
Ardelle, I have also used the cotton look poly and cotton with no issues. Customer service is also topnotch.
Guest Linda S
I haven't bought this thread yet, but have several longarming friends who have it and love it. Once I have some money, I may give it a whirl.
