Mandalei
I have filed a DBA and am set up as a business, and I have spoken with Quilter's Dream re: wholesale batting, but has anyone had experience ordering fabric wholesale? I don't know if I am considered too "small fry" for the big companies, you know? I make my own quilts, and will eventually be quilting them myself. Thanks, collective mind! --mandy
njquiltergirl
Many companies want $1500++ minimums. Some do not sell to non-stores. Tough to get small amounts wholesale. Good luck!
Guest Linda S
If you set up an account with Checker Distributors or EE Schenck, you can buy from the fabric lines they carry at wholesale prices, but you have to buy the whole bolt of fabric. You can only get Moda fabrics from them (United Notions) and you have to have a minimum first order of about $1500.
yankiequilter
Marshall Dry Goods sells both retail and wholesale. I don't know if there are minimum purchase requirements so give them a call, they are very nice people to do business with.. http://www.marshalldrygoods.com/
