Busy Quilting
I have 5 of her books, but they are with another longarmer at the moment. Postage back to the States would be a killer! I assume you have looked at Diana's Cozy-Creations site. Shouldn't have gone there, she has some new books that might have to come visit my library! ffq-lar
Make your own notebook of Line Dancing designs. Realize that it's just a shaped line. No magic in that. But when you trace that same line all over a quilt made of squares from seam intersection to seam intersection, the repetition of line and the secondary designs formed make such a nice statement. Get some graph paper and practice on squares to start. Become comfortable with the CC pathway. Dawn C. had a great tutorial in Unlimited Possibilities that helped many visualize what is required to stitch CCs. Sally Terry had a diagram on her website and she is famous for Terry twists. Haunt this forum's pictures threads. Lots of LD there, it's just that it might not be named that. Look at webshots after you search "line dancing" and you will get lots of inspiration. I remember when the "Line Dancing lightbulb" went off in my brain! It's fabulous, a perfect solution to samplers, and soooo easy to stitch. More LD-ing...
