Callie_Grace Posted May 2, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2012 Thanks for the compliments! For the design I was inspired by the pattern. I was going for wind blowing through the flags! I practiced and practiced, but I don't have a name for this freehand design. The way I did the design was to make a sweeping backwards "S" curve and then at the end go into a swirl. I would then echo this entire shape a couple of times, I would even echo the swirl again to make a bigger circular shape. Once I did this a few times I would then echo the entire shape. After echoing, I would go into another sweeping "S" curve, once again echoing. I was wanting the motion of wind, but was careful not want to echo too much as my curves would start to look more like lines! I hope this makes sense and not "clear as mud!"
