lg166
I bought a used millie an after30 min. use it would fire the needle down 1-3 times lighting speed . Then it started to cycle the needle 2-3 times on the single stitch yellow button. Adjusted num. 8 screw 1 turn and it works perfict but needle is slow when cold. it still wonts to fire the needle down every so often mostly in stitch regulater mode. Checked brushes and thay are almost new . trouble shootingindicator lights 3&5 somtimes 6 stays on. problem is not near as bad after adjusting num. 8:mad:
Quilting Heidi
You still might need to do some minor adjustments of the #8 screw. I know it took me a few tweaks to get my Milli the way I wanted it.
RunningThreads
The #8 screw is the right thing for the needle cycling. The needle fireing down is a whole other problem sometimes caused by static. Several of us had this type of problem after we changed over to M&M wheels when the home became dry in the winter, but not the only possibilty. Call Amy at the factory tomorrow and she fix you up it is a serious problem the soultion is usually cheap.
lg166
Most of the problem was caused by electric cord I hung on frame.
