Bonnie in Ok
This just started today when using SR working fine then all of a sudden it will start missing stitches and sometimes completely stops stitching although I am still moving the machine (Millie). I switch it to normal stitching and it is fine then switch it back to SR and it works okay for a while. What is the problem?
Katydids
Bonnie, it could be a few things. It could just be a matter of your encoder wheel is slipping, or it could be something in the wire, or possibly even a board. You need to determine in which direction it is happening and then can look at the individual encoders or wires. do a test and run the machine just forward and back and then just side to side to see when it is happening. Once you can determine which direction it is happening, you can then check the corresponding encoder wheels for slippage or the wires to make sure they are connected well and don't have anything loose or a possible break in the wire. The encoder wheels should be really grippy into the wheel. Hold the wheel tight and then see if you can easily turn the encoder wheel. If so, it may just be a matter of adjusting it tighter into the wheel. This would be the 1st thing to check.
Bonnie in Ok
Thanks Patty will check that and hopefully it will just need a little adjusting.
