  1. Thanks Cathy for your valuable information will have to try this. Thank you for sharing!
  2. What kind of batting were you using? I will try this when I need to take up excess border fabric. So do just place it where the fullness is or does it go the length of the border?
  3. Does it not make the border fuller than the rest of the quilt?
  4. I had to do this , just clean off the old and put on new.
  5. Vickie, the bag pattern is Professional Tote from the creative thimble website.
  6. I bought the light advertised by Mike Ferris on this forum and I really like the change from my old style fluorescent light on my Mille. The added plus is the added view of the sewing area checkout his site. Many others have also gave good reviews on the light just search the forum for them. Thanks Mike!
  7. Here is a bag I made for my daughters birthday. She is a music teacher so think she will like it. Thanks for looking. first pic is turned wrong way and don't know how to turn on post, second pic is the inside on bag.
  8. Thanks everyone for the info. I used printed treasures fabric years ago in my ink jet printer and gave it to my mom she washed it years later and the picture faded from what they were originally. I did not use any thing to set the ink other than letting it dry for 24 hours. Planning on doing another project and not wanting that to happen.
  9. Want to know what others use to make printer ink on fabric permanent? I have read soaking in white vinegar works. Has anyone tried this? Thanks in advance for any ideas.
  10. Kay is probably right I guess I missed the violent part of the problem.
