Sheri Butler
Wow. Never heard anyone have problems with the back of the foot area, but yes, you can grind it off. I had to do that with my hopping foot on my APQS millie too.
ConcreteSher
Hello again, everyone! We called APQS today and spoke with Mark, who was wonderfully helpful. He informed my husband and I that unfortunately, the machine is only worth about $3,000. I don't think the mother/grandson will take that, as they are thinking in terms of what Grandma spent, not current value. I'm in a bit of a quandry, since they were so nice I don't want to try to talk them down on price, but I'm certainly not going to overpay $2,000 either. I'll keep everyone updated as to my decision. And thank you for all of your input - I think I've found a wonderful new place to hang out here! - Sherry
jimerickson
Susan: I have been unsuccessful at trying to post photo to the forum. I sent some to Laura. If she knows how to post them, may she will. She's free to, if she likes. Jim
Susanri
I would still offer the 3000 and explain why, I also think at 3500/4000 it would still be a good value if the machine was properly taken care of. If I sold my Ult 2 for 3000 I could not buy anything comparable or of that quality, which is why I never switched machines I would have to shell out so much money. What else have you seen at 3000 to 4000 range that's a real Longarm of that quality?
