CucumberQuilting
Oh dear, here we go again. Have you seen the new format for the WEBSHOTS slideshows? It's kind of cool, but I'm wondering if we can slow it down to take a better look at the quilting?
Ferret
You used to be able to pause, is that still possible? Ferret
Myrna Ficken
I do like the new slide show. But have not like a few of the other changes thay have made so maybe they will get better. Myrna
CucumberQuilting
PAUSE Found it. If you scroll (use your mouse to move the cursor down) into the bottom of the slideshow, in the black area where the caption for the photo is, if there is one, the pause, speed buttons will appear. Glad they didn't eliminate that feature, it's hard to study a quilt for only 5 seconds at a time!
Sparkle
I've been with Webshots for years, but their new format is not as user friendly, and I don't like all those cute sayings they put by Users names. I wish there was a way to delete them somehow. I wrote to them, and they said it couldn't be done. I think that Webshots is now courting the younger crowd ---similar to My Space. I'm in the process of moving to Picture Trails. Really nice background colors, text and more personal. It's also less expensive for a year subscription. That was a surprise. I think it will more like the "old Webshots".
Guest Linda S
Wow - I really like the new slide show. I think I will embed it into my web site to show the pictures of my quilts. I've never quite liked the way I had my pictures set up and the slide show looks great! Linda
