queenie123 Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 I have the old style square frame ,I need to remove stripped screw to change gear lube ,do I have to remove all the rollers to remove the machine head or maybe just the front ones and slide it off Left side ? barbm Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 Queenie, I think you will probably have to remove just the back rollers (you have two, right?) to get your head off, and you defintely have to have the head off (and turned upside down) to repack the gear box. You might try emailing Dawn or Mark at APQS - they may have some other suggestions to make it easier - they are most likely to have worked on the older tables. queenie123 Posted September 23, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 if all machines, used machines are sold with choice of new frame what happens to all the old ones ,anyone have one floating around they might be interested in selling,I have the old square one,just want my milli to look like it belongs in the new millenieum ,semms the 2000 model would have had the newer frame . It was 2002 that Jim L, Bob & Jim K. joined APQS and since Jim K. is an engineer, he quickly came up with a less complicated, better looking table.
