Bonnie in Ok
If I found a pattern that requires a 4 1/2 inch squares and the fussy cut I want to use is 5 inches can I just increase all the block sizes that half an inch and still get the same look? If not what do I have to do to creat this
ffq-lar
As long as there aren't any triangles to piece into half-square triangles, upping the size a half-inch should work. When in doubt, plot one block and any sashing on graph paper to double check the dimensions.
Bonnie in Ok
there are some triangles around the blocks so do I increase them to the 7/8?

Antoinette
Before you cut it all out, make one block with the new dimensions just to make sure it all plays nice.
Busy Quilting
Make one block from paper and see if it fits. Cheaper than fabric. Just remember to use the finished block size ie no seam allowances.
