uncquilter
I was working on a quilt when my Liberty started rapidly firing stitches then froze. I turned it off. When I turned it back on it was fine. Stitched for a few rows and all was well. Then it did it again. Made a horrible noise, started stitching irradically then it just shut off on its own. Unplugged and just started over. All was well. What is going on? I've never had anything like this happen before. Any help is appreciated. thanks, Carol
shirleyl
Could it be static electricity?
Primitive1
It sounds like maybe something is going on with the circuit boards, I'd call APQS in the moring. It may be static electricity causing problems.

DawnCavanaugh
Carol, Check your motor brushes. You should find a section about them in your manual. Let me know if you cannot locate it and I can email it to you.
