ffq-lar
Try the least-invasive first. Mild soap and water. Then maybe an oxy-based spot treater. Most of these applications require laundering, but you may be able to do a thorough rinse-out if the marks are isolated on an edge area. I finally got out marks on a backer and batting with Grandma's Secret Spot Remover. Apply and work into the mark. Blot with a clean, wet cloth. Re-apply if necessary. Rinse well and let air-dry. Good luck. I think we've all been there.
JustSewSimple
Yelp! Been there!! I scrubbed mine with a toothbrush and some baking soda. It came out but took awhile. I actually did the clean up while the quilt was still on the frame and it came out beautifully. Like Linda said, Grandma's is great for such accidents. dancing bear
i use a q-tip dipped in Dawn dish washing detergent. Just a dab will do the job.
elkayr
Thanks a bunch! The top isn't quilted yet & the wheel marks are across a piece of the piano key border. So I'm thinking I should wait to remove the marks after it's quilted since the borders are a little friendly.
