tsurich
Cheryl, I made my own. Used 1/8" plexiglas (because the metal plate was 1/8" and didn't want to mess with changing foot plus I had a piece on hand big enough). Used the metal plate as a template to make holes. I really like this, I leave it on all the time. It doesn't get in the way (I rounded over the edges on top to help) and I have a visual reminder to stop and blow out lint as I see into the bobbin area. I have used it over a year, but know that someday it may wear in the thread hole and I will need to emery it out or make a new one. I had used a metal base plate that was commercially available and it had some drawbacks to me so I created my own. Helps that DH has well stocked workshop and we are country folk and used to fixing and making do. We were without power Saturday through Monday and really were quite happy with our snowdays. This is good as are looking at next storm coming this noon through Thursday many haven't gotten power on from last storm so pray for them.

Katydids
Hi Sue, I really like that base. I have the Hartley base, which is easy to use, but yours looks like it doesn't interfere with your quilting space. I don't suppose you would like to make me one Patty
Cheryll
I would love to order one too but I have an older Ultimate 2 with a whopper of a foot instead of the hopping foot. Your honey may have come up with a great new product in the long arm world. Go for it. Cheryll Thanks so much for sharing. the picture is great too.
