cstucke80
Could you suggest a quilting design on a Kaleidoscope designed quilt. What would you suggest for it ?

maggienoella
Can you post a photo? That's usually the best way to get ideas for you. Joan
ffq-lar
If the kaleidoscope is made from hexagons and thus all share seams, stitching CCs continuously will results in a pretty petal-y overall quilting design. If she wants circular, stitch an in-and-out spiral in each hexie. That can also be continuous with a little planning. If you don't have a photo to post, try to find a photo on line and paste a link to it so we can see what you have to work with. Here's a link to a small top I quilted this year. Is this the pattern? Simple CCs so the colors stand out. I deliberately didn't hit the outside points when I stitched the CCs. https://www.flickr.com/photos/larech/9260959693/
Sue E.
I just finished two kaleidoscope quilts that were both done with a panto design and they look great. We wanted something fast to stitch out that showed some movement. I used Dizzy Izzy on one and the other looked like wind blowing (I can't remember the name right off the top of my head and I'm not at the computer that has my designs). I don't have pictures yet but I'll try to get them later.
cstucke80
I am not able to post a picture right now . From what I remember from it they looked string pieced to make up the designs. It is like a scrap type quilt.
